Shropshire made, ash wood spatula with black iron handle.
May be used with all types of cookware and is ideal for tin lined copper pans.
Our British hardwood spatula, also known as a flipper, turner or fish slice is the ideal tool for lifting and turning foods such as steaks, fish, eggs and pancakes.

A wide blade makes it ideal for sliding under the food to turn it over or for removing it from the pan in one piece; no flaking fish or broken egg yolks.

The wooden blade is non-scratching and is kind to all cook and bakeware surfaces.
Hand-made and assembled with solid brass screws.
Untreated 4mm thick British ash wood blade has a ground front edge and a fine hand sanded finish.
Comfortable ⅛ inch (3mm) thick black iron handle.
The durable 99.1% pure iron handle is pre-seasoned with organic flax oil for an easy clean finish.
Highlighted with a Netherton brand brass rivet.

Cleaning
After use, wipe clean with warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Never put your ash utensils in the dishwasher. Store in a dry airy place.
We recommend applying a a food-safe wood oil to keep the ash blade looking good and stopping it drying out and eventually splitting, we suggest walnut oil as a safe natural choice.
The handle is made from black iron & will need thoroughly drying after use or it will rust. We suggest coating the handle with a thin wipe of olive oil or bees wax to prevent rusting.
