Zooming in on Abergavenny Food Festival with Tom Parker Bowles

The last time we spoke to Tom Parker Bowles was a Zoom call early in lockdown in May 2020 and no-one had any idea when we would all get to meet in real life again. However this time it’s a bit different and after our Zoom chat with Tom today, we know for sure that we will be seeing him on the second day of the Abergavenny Food Festival, this Sunday (22nd September). Listen in as he gives us a quick run down about what he will be doing with Little French’s Freddy Bird and Saturday Kitchen’s Matt Tebbutt. These are two very different events, both giving the audience a chance to hear more about Tom’s new book, ‘Cooking and The Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III’. If you would like to learn more about the food that’s been served on the royal tables for the best part of the last 200 years, come along to the festival and catch Tom in the Market Hall at 11:30am with Freddy or the Borough Theatre with Matt at 2 o’clock (this one is a ticketed event, so be sure to pre-book).

You can find all the details here on the festival website

‘Cooking and The Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III’ is published by Hachette and is on sale from 26th September and you can pre-order at your local bookstore or on-line here.
