It was after a ridiculously delicious dinner at Docket 33, that we spoke to chef patron Stuart Collins about how we make the prospector pans that he enjoys using.  We discussed what a chef thinks makes a great pan and we talked about an exchange of skills and an opportunity to create something new. And so, during the winter of 2022-23 Chef Stuart Collins came to visit us at the Netherton Foundry workshops and learnt how to spin and build his favourite prospector pan.

But these were not just any pans, these would be the first ever copper prospector pans!  Shortly afterwards Netherton Foundry joined Stuart at the worktop in his kitchen in Whitchurch, Shropshire where he taught us how to prepare four of his favourite dishes. All were cooked in the new Netherton copper pan he built himself.

Stuart Collins is a Great British Menu finalist and Chef Patron of the amazing Docket 33 Restaurant in Whitchurch, Shropshire. He's an advocate of all things Salopian and that includes his Netherton Foundry pans.
