OUTDOOR SLOW COOKER FEATURED IN AWARD WINNING GARDEN, RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL

NETHERTON FOUNDRY OUTDOOR SLOW COOKER FEATURED IN AWARD WINNING GARDEN, RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL  11-13th May 2018

Not far from Netherton HQ, across the border into Worcestershire, lie the magnificent, rolling Malvern Hills. Nestled at the base of the hills is the glorious and expansive Malvern Hills showground, home to RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Spring festival. The weather was favourable and BBC Gardeners World gave us a tantalising glimpse wiew of the exhibits.

The highlight was in the Green Living Spaces area, where Anne Keenan's bronze medal winning entry At Home - Grow, Dine and Relax.

Edibles were carefully positioned in easy reach of the table, which was, as we like to think, as its centrepiece, The Netherton Foundry charcoal powered outdoor slow cooker.
The garden "uses ordinary, everyday materials to great effect - copper pipes are used as structural features and a canopy, made of deckchair fabric, matches the cushions below."

Our cast iron and oak slow cooker uses traditional, enduring and beautiful materials.
The garden was, in part inspired by Raymond Blanc and Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons who visited the show to see this exhibit
