A Study in Scarlet by Diana Henry, in The Telegraph

“In the food galaxy, blood oranges are stars”, Diana Henry in Saturday’s Telegraph, describing the beauty of the seasonal red oranges that appear all too fleetingly to brighten the dreary days of February.
Her recipe for chicken with blood oranges calls for a roasting tin, big enough for the fennel and oranges to fit around the chicken, but not so large that the juices run to the sides of the rim – step forward the Netherton Foundry prospector pan.  Absolutely perfect not only to cook this delicious recipe, but handsome enough to take it straight to the table.
