DID YOU SEE CHEF CHRIS BURT ON THE TV USING OUR PANS ? .....well probably not as they only had a bit part!
........However the programme great. It's a new series on BBC1 on Thursday afternoons, called THE FARMERS COUNTRY SHOWDOWN. The last episode featured our friend Tracey from Bennett and Dunn (local producers of beautiful rape seed oil) together with Shropshire's own globe trotting chef, Chris Burt from The Peach Tree and Momo•No•Ki in Shrewsbury. Chef Chris Burt cooks some cracking Finnebrogue Artisan venison in our Netherton Foundry pans, they appear at 19 min 59secs.... but who's counting!
Also in this episode is an interview with Phil Maile, chairman of the ground breaking Ludlow Food Festival and Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Creamfrom just south of us in Worcestershire.
