Terms, Conditions & Returns

We warrant that your new Netherton Foundry Shropshire item against faulty materials or poor workmanship for 24-months from date of purchase, provided that your usage is for personal domestic use only and that the product has been maintained according to the care and use instructions provided with the product or available on this website.

Before ordering Netherton Foundry iron cookware:

Read the FAQ's and the Product care information page here to ensure you are able and prepared to look after seasoned iron cookware as we recommend. 
Check dimensions of the pan or product you have chosen. Ensure it will fit on or in your oven or cupboard etc. If you wish to exchange the pan, we will charge the additional shipping costs and any difference in product cost. Pay particular attention to the handle length when considering oven re-seasoning, will it fit in your oven or will you need to re-season on the hob? If in doubt please call us for further advice. 

Before ordering Netherton Foundry copper cookware:

The tin lining on our copper cookware is not covered by the warranty as we cannot predict wear and use. Please read the FAQ's and the detailed information and care on the copper cookware pages and ensure that you are able and prepared to use them as we recommend. 

Warped or buckled pans: 

Your Warranty does not cover buckling caused by dropping a hot pan in cold water or fast heating on an induction hob or buckling caused by inappropriate ring/hob size. Before use read all of page: Re-seasoning, the care of cast, black and spun iron

Problems and advice:

If you think you have a problem with your product or need advice on how to use it, please use these contact details.

and a Mon-Thurs 0900-1600 hrs; Friday 0900-1400 hrs (UK Time) telephone Helpline  UK:  01746 862781   International: +44 1746 862781.
Always contact us through one of these channels BEFORE returning an item.
We find in most cases, we can resolve the problem over the phone/by email.

Before contacting us:

Take a note of your product's Identification number (electrical items and clocks only).
You can find this on the label on the bottom of the product or on the back of your clock.
In order to help you, we will need to know this number each time you contact us.

Always retain the original packaging and proof of purchase;

If you return an item to us, always enclose a copy receipt and contact details (name, contact, etc) please.
If you are returning an item within 14-days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we can only offer a product refund if the item is returned in an as-new (UN-USED) condition, and is saleable once checked by us.
We reserve the right to deduct our original shipping costs from refunds.

Did you buy your product from us?

If your product purchase is made via a retailer or any web seller other than Netherton Foundry or Netherton Foundry on Amazon and eBay, please be aware it is that company that has your money, not us. Therefore, if you want to return an item and a credit is authorised, it is that company who has your money,
and therefore it is that company which will refund your purchase price.

Postage:

We will not reimburse return postage charges, if the item is returned under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or where an item is returned but is found to be faultless. Therefore, always contact us first, as described above.
Your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, are not affected. 

Delivery dates and manufacturing times.

We are an artisan business and our cookware is handmade by our craftsmen. At busy times it can take up to four weeks to manufacture from scratch (check here to see the current published delivery times.). We will update orders by email with confirmation of despatch and tracking details if applicable (tracking details aren’t always available for items sent by Royal Mail). 

Stock levels / Our webshop lists product availability as follows:

In stock:  This means we have all the materials to make your product and will make and dispatch within our published delivery times.
Pre order: You can place an order but it usually means we are waiting for materials to arrive shortly and it will probably take longer than our published delivery times.
Out of stock: This means we are missing materials and we don't know when they will arrive. In this case you can email / write to us and we'll get back to you when the item is available. 

VAT and tax: 

Please note, all orders with delivery addresses  in UK and EU territories are processed with British VAT added.
Deliveries outside of UK and EU do not have VAT added, if requested we can supply a seperate invoice to present to your local tax authorities.
